But how dark and sad are the paintings of Mr Maruyama in his 1950s. (the owner of Dahitsu-kan, Seeing the exhibition of Tsuneo Maruyama’s posthumous works Part II).

Created in 1956. This silent world may have been inspired by Paul Klee. In addition to this painting, there are also Night Sea and Night Strings. In this series of works with strong abstraction, the images that were selected in the artist’s youthful spirit appear in the form of colours and shapes, and the abstract composition has a bipolarity that also looks at the figurative, and the deep contemplation has come to fruition beautifully.
